Nuclear Science and Medical Applications in the Targeted Alpha Therapy laboratory

The Joint Research Centre (JRC), in Karlsruhe, Germany, supports the development of medical applications of radioactive elements.

It carries out research in the area of targeted alpha therapy (also called Alpha-Immunotherapy), which is a new approach to cancer treatment.
