The JRC Seville site began in 1994 with a small group of researchers and has grown to become JRC's second largest site. Economists, engineers, computer scientists, and social scientists are the most common profiles among the 400-person staff. They provide socioeconomic and technoeconomic support for EU policy formulation, development, implementation, and monitoring.
