The Disaster Risk Management Knowledge Centre (DRMKC) aims at enhancing the EU and Member States resilience to disasters and their capacity to prevent, prepare and respond to emergencies through a strengthened interface between science and policy. The DRMKC is composed of several Commission services and a network of interested Member States. It is the point of reference to support the work of EU Member States as well as all actors involved in disaster risk management within and beyond the EU.
