Observing forests, preserving uniqueness

The International Day of Forests (21 March) aims at raising awareness on the importance of forest ecosystems. This StoryMap published for the occasion tells how understanding the state of the forests and tracking the progress towards national and international targets is fundamental for conservation forest outcomes. The BIOPAMA Reference Information System can link data on forests state and pressure to targets for protection and restoration activities.
