The Nucleic Acids Analysis laboratory

The nucleic acids analysis laboratory of the Joint Research Centre in Geel, Belgium, is equipped with state-of-the-art instrumentation for conducting research in genomics.

Our genomic research entails isolating, characterizing, and the precise quantification of DNA or RNA for applications such as animal and viral species identification, GMO quantification, and the assignment of certified values in DNA and RNA-based reference materials, among others.
